What is the difference between pre-fabricated and custom?

It is most important to note that there is a difference between a pre-fabricated and custom item. A pre-fabricated item is one that is considered off the shelf and is not molded to fit any particular body shape or size. This can include an ankle brace, BREG knee brace or, hand splints. A custom item is one that is fabricated with certain measurements in mind to fit a specific body type. This may include a customer AFO, custom inserts, or a Fusion BREG knee brace.
